Hi there,You sounds similar to my problems. They mostly included going to stores, malls, out in public places, etc. I had a hard time talking to people also. I would usually laugh everything off and not have anything to respond with if someone talked to me. I always had the impression people were staring at me which would cause me to sweat, heart pound, and really anxious. I decided to finally see a doctor. He gave me the option to try Paxil, but recommended Nardil which he said was the best medicine for social anxiety. He explained the diet I had to stay on and I chose to use it. It kicked in about 4 weeks and worked great. I rarely feel anxious anymore in social situations. I don't mind going out in public and my mood is overall better. It also helped the depression that goes w/ social anxiety.
Nardil is the only medicine I have used.
The diet does not bother me much honestly. I haven't ran into any hypertensive situations. I pretty much eat whatever I want still. No sexual problems were frustrated. I couldn't orgasm for 4 months. It was definately hard to go through that but it did come back and I can now orgasm.
