I could be wrong, but I doubt you would have such headaches from reducing dosage from 300 to 250. I'm a strong advocate of medication combos. But one problem with medication combos is that when you do get some kind of adverse event, it is hard to pinpoint the culprit. Especially when two new drugs have recently been added. I just don't think going from 300 to 250 is going to cause that much trouble.

I would guess the headaches are actually a combination of everything. Your body is adjusting to new drug molecules and at the same time adjusting to a reduction of another.

Advil is safe and helpful for medication induced headaches. But if bad headaches continue for more than another week, I would then be more concerned.

I'm also new to lexapro (2 weeks at 10 mg) and neurontin (3 weeks at 300) My doc thinks lexapro and neurontin are unlikely to be the culprit. Any advice? Theories?
