I'm on Celexa, but it doesn't do enough. Have been on Prozac and Luvox, but they killed me sexually. Risperdal seemed to do the same thing. If you think seroquel makes it hard to get out of bed, try zyprexa. That's why I'm trying seroquel. It's a bit discouraging that you were so sedated on only 25 mg. I did read something that said seroquel's sedation is not very dose-dependent, meaning that it doesn't get much worse when you raise the dose, but that seems strange. Did your doctor give you any idea what he thought an effective dose of seroquel might be? I'm assuming you were taking it in addion to an ssri.

> I was taking 25 mgs. once a day (which is a small dose). That was about all I could handle. Anymore than that and I wouldn't be able to get out of bed. It will definately put you to sleep if you take it at night. The good thing is that it take effect really fast so you will know if it will help pretty quickly. I only tried it for a few weeks. I didn't really care for it. It made me feel like a zombie, kind of loaded and heavy. I had pretty good luck with a low dose of Risperdal for awhile. I am afraid of the anti-psychotic meds after hearing the different long term problems people have had with them. Have you tried other meds for OCD? Such as Paxil, Luvox, Celexa, etc.? Did you have any luck with any of them?
