According to what Dr. Edwin Hallowell wrote in his book ‘driven to distraction’; approx. 40% of people with A.D.D have it ‘comorbid’ with a mood disorder. I myself have a mild case of BipolarII along with Ring of Fire A.D.H.D. If you’re interested in finding out more about the interactions between these conditions, I would recommend the book ‘Shadow Syndromes’ by John Ratey and Catharine Johnson. It is an extremely well written guide to this topic. Reading it offered me both peace of mind and practical advice.
