Question about betaine (TMG) to Larry Hoover

Hello,
We spoke a couple weeks ago about anhydrous betaine and I have begun taking a product made by Solgar called Homocysteine Modulators (contains 1g TMG, 50 mg B6, 400mcg folic acid, and 500mcg vit.B12).
So far I have taken one a day and have noticed a definate anti-depressant effect. You stated in a previous post that the side effects are similar to that of Sam-e. Just what are the side effects specifically? Does this product increase Seratonin and if so would there be a risk of sexual disfunction? I ask b/c I think I might be taking too much. You take 500-1000mg every 4th day, correct? What has been your experience at higher doses? I am sleeping well and do not feel flushed or nervous, just some possible sexual disfuntion (not sure though, too early to tell).
