Geezer,
I hope ECT is helpful to you. Are you having it outpatient? I am. Have you tapered down your mood stabilizing/anti-seizure drugs? I got off the depakote and neurontin before embarking on ECT and I think it helped alot. The edoc is having no trouble inducing the seizures. There are some patients that are on anti-seizure meds, or they are just very resistance because they get IV caffeine right before the treatment to lower their seizure theshold. I don't want any more drugs than necessary!
