If you take 2 doses a day, take you second one later in the afternoon. If you start crashing during the day, up your dose.
I was at 60mg XR and told my pdoc I just wanted to sleep when I got home. She was not wanting to go higher. I had an appt. with her at noon a few months ago and had already taken 60 mg. I told her I had no problems with BP or anything so she took my BP..125/70. Now I take 90mg and it's the right dose for me with the other meds I take. I can go to bed at 10, wake up at 6..no problem. Are you taking the extended release?A friend of a friend, a paramedic, was the first kid in the Dallas ISD to be prescribed Ritalin for ADD. He still takes it 40 years later and is doing great.
