Though I am not bipolar, I have been taking Zyprexa 2.5mg every night for awhile now and I quite like it, especially for alleviating insomnia. I am also taking Effexor, and so far it and Zyprexa seem to be working well together.
A drawback is, alas, the weight gain, even though I try to watch my food intake carefully. In spite of briskly running 20 miles per week, I have still gained about 10 pounds (5kg) or so.
