That might explain the hypomania. Serzone also is a 5-HT antagonist (5-HT2a, I think). You may just be sensitive to meds with this property. When I tried Seroquel (another atypical AP), I had a similar experience, but it happened when the med was wearing off, a kind of "rebound" effect. What happened to you also might have been an interaction between the Zyprexa and what was left of the Parnate washing out.

Ritch,Yeah, I was thinking the exact same thing myself. But I didnt think of the Zyprexa interacting with the Parnate. Good one, Ill have to mention that to the doctor next time I go. Now that you say that about your experience with the Seroquel, that is pretty much what happened to me with the Zyprexa, cause like I said I only took it for 2 or 3 days and the hypomania didnt really kick in until a few days later, when it was wearing off. Wonder what that means.. anyway, thanks for the ideas..!
