That's unusual Dinah- the half life of klonopin is about 12 hours, and many people complain of grogginess when they take it that late and need to get up early. It just goes to show the different effects of different benzos on people. Is the effexor helping you? It is a very stimulating drug. I'm one of those people who hate to see a drug being prescribed to counter the effects of other drugs- it's how I got up to taking 6 different meds a day. Just wondering if you could take a more sedating AD? Take care, judy
