Why is it? (Klonopin dose)

Posted by Dinah on July 25, 2002, at 8:47:41

I was taking 1 mg at about 10:30 pm (1/2 to 1 mg is my norm - sometimes none), but due to Effexor related agitation, I would wake up at almost exactly 2:30 am every morning, and take another Klonopin. My pdoc suggested I just take 2 mg at 10:30 instead. Now I'm waking up at almost exactly 5:30 am every morning. While that is certainly better than 2:30 am, it is definitely not my normal waking time. I am wondering why the effects last exactly the same length of time each night. Four hours for 1 mg, 7 hours for 2 mg.

Just curious, really, I suppose.
