Hi Anna,
When I first took prothiaden when I was about 23 it worked brilliantly, initially it was very sedating which was good because I was having problems sleeping. However, after I had slept it out I felt really good and energised. It did increase my appetite but only in the sense that it helped me to enjoy food again. I didn't put on much weight but then I am a smoker so this may have had something to do with it.
I have since tried prothiaden and it hastn't worked this time round, I hope it works for you.
