I'm on Serzone. I had an eye twitch last year that lasted about three months. It was so severe twice that my eye squeezed shut. Nothing showed up on an MRI or CT except a sinus infection. Once that was cleared, the twitch subsided. When my sinuses begin to clog again, I use Flonase, and I don't twitch. I get it briefly when I sneeze or when I lose sleep, but that's it.
After a bad antibiotic, I got body spasms that didn't go away for two months. Docs thought I had fibromyalgia, but it was just a bad reaction. And though most reactions go away after about ten days of stopping the medication, some can last up to a year. Once in awhile, I get a leg spasm or an arm spasm, but it's usually nothing and goes away.
Muscles can also go into spasm if they are tight or out of whack. If the MRI is fine, get a massage!
