I guess he's not too well informed about Wellbutrin. In Sweden Wellbutrin is only sold as Zyban for those who wish to quit smoking.
As for the rest, the way things are done here is that your family doc writes you a SSRI, and if that won't work, well, tough! I have been working hard since December to get a referral to a p-doc. I won't be able to see one w/o a referral, and I am stick to one assigned to me.
I've talked to some people here, who have given up medicines after one initial attempt with Zoloft. (What are the odds that that would actually work!!)
This is as far from New York and seeing my p-doc every other week as one can get. I've never liked the idea of self-prescribed medication, or hittin web-docs for meds, but I don't think I have other options. Hate give you guys the load, but I have a feeling I'll be asking a lot of advice on this board.
