First apple cider vinegar. Yes, this is very good, however, not just by itself. Actually, it's an Edgar Cayce recipe: 2 T applecider vinegar, 2 tsp honey mixed in 1 cup warm water. It is very good, helps digestion and other stuff.
Now for soy. Not a good idea. Soy intereferes with thyroid for anyone, and especially for menopausal women. A little bit is OK, but large amounts, like in a daily protein drink, can eventually cause thyroid problems. Soybeans are also one of the most irradiated and pesticided crops in America. If you're looking for a protein powder source, whey protein is a better bet.
Flax seed is also a good source of EPA's and can be mixed in food, on cereals and in your protein drink.
