I was on Paxil for three years and went from a size 4 to a size 16. I finally went to my shrink and told him I was ready to try something else because of this. I've been on Effexor since last December and haven't lost any but weight but at least I stopped gaining! I also feel like I have more energy like before the depression. As I see it, the Paxil kept me alive long enough to feel good enough to complain about it.
