I was prescribed 100mg/day of zoloft after my father committed suicide for life. I have since decided that I do not want to take drugs for the rest of my life and would like to take care of my predisposition for depression naturally with exercise and vitamins. I tried weaning myself off from 100mg to 50mg for two weeks. Then got impatient and went cold turkey after 25mgs for 3 days. I have been feeling extremely dizzy, nauseous and have been getting the chills. I even had to go home sick from work today. This website has been very helpful and I just barely took 50mgs and am going to try the 50/25 then 25/0 technique. Does anyone have any suggestions for easing my current discomfort? Also how many days does it take to feel better...and has anyone succeeded in getting off zoloft? This is the second time I have tried to get off this drug and the symptoms are unbearable...Thanks in advance.
