Ben,

Point well taken. I still run into physicians who act like their patients are asking for heroin if they request Valium. One doctor actually claimed he was worried his DEA license might be revoked if he prescribed Valium.

This is pure nonsense. And you are quite right that withdrawal becomes an issue with many medications (especially anti-depressants) that have no addictive or recreational use whatsoever.

I had not heard about the long-term studies, but I am grateful that you shared them.
