Dexamphetamine effects permanent?

Hi all
I think I have what you'd called cyclothymia or maybe light bipolar. I've tried a lot of meds but thought that my symptoms which included depression, mania (never psychotic) and lots of anxiety in some ways looked like ADD, that is I couldn't concentrate etc etc. I saw a doctor who agreed that Dex was worth a try.
I tried a very small amount to begin with and had a big anxiety attack the likes of which I've never had, my mind was racing and i felt very out of control, it was very uncomfortable and scary. It lasted about an hour.
Problem is they keep coming and aren't diminishing, its been about two months. I am taking Zyprexa which dulls the impact but i can still feel them there and they come back when I go off Zyprexa.
I desperately want to get back to my old self without these anxiety rushes. Any ideas?
