> Does anyone have experience with this drug in kids? My 8 yr old son with anxiety and insomnia was started on it to regulate his sleep. It helped him go to sleep but he is sleepy and irritable during the day.The DR wanted to increase his dose to decrease these symptoms but I was not sure.all comments welcome.

Increasing the dose will probably reduce the daytime sedation, yes. Remeron gets less sedating as you raise the dose. So if he's taking 7.5 mg, 15 might be better; if he's taking 15, 22.5 might cause less daytime sedation; and so forth.
