> zoloft made me break out alot...i have been struggling with acne though, for 5 yrs...went on accutane twice and made me depressed....ever since then been on antidepressant meds. alot of them made me break out....serzone and effexor were the worst offendors as well as lithium and wellbutrin but all the ssri's made my skin worse also....only meds that didnt were neurontin, gabatril, topimax and lamictal. lamictal can be used for unipolar depression, but the latter three are usually used for mood stabolization. hope this helps...good luck...jodi
Can you describe your experience with Gabitril (tiagabine)? Are you bipolar? I suffer from chronic bipolar depression for which I am interested in trying the newer anticonvulsants.Thanks.
