A friend of mine abused Adderall somewhat heavily too. He would take 3 or 5 or 7 pills at once instead of the recommended dose of one, stay awake for days at a time reading and working on "projects" (of which no one I know ever saw the results), lost a good deal of weight...the most disturbing result of this was a complete change in his affect--once a warm, genuinely engaging fluid conversationalist, he became jumpy, his eyes darting, fingers always fidgeting...less sociable for sure and, it seemed to me, less inetlligent.
We're not in touch right now but I'm hoping Adderall abuse didn't permanently change him.
