This little plus is part of why Prozac, renamed Sarafem, is being marketed as a PMS drug that reduces bloating. The weight gain thing varies. I too lost at first unlike with Paxil where I rapidly gained weight and saw no appreciable mood improvement. Prozac has always been my favorite AD, and for me, has the least number of side effects, but as we all know, your mileage may vary.
