From my experience, Wellbutrin is a little tricky. For me, at first I experienced an amazing response to it from the start, and then it stopped working suddenly. It turned out I had bipolar tendencies, and it wasn't until i started taking Wellbutrin again with Lithium and titrating the dosage up very slowly that it finally worked (and worked well!).
Many people experience a boost when first taking Wellbutrin, especially when jumping into a high dose. Don't get your hopes up too much, because this initial high DOES wear off.
