Hello,

I have been on Effexor for about 6 years for depression and anxiety. If works wonders for me. It takes away all those obsessive thoughts and makes me much more relaxed.

The negative side...I have gained weight, I get night sweats and if I forget to take my medication I get horrible side effects (mini-explosion feeling in my head, nausea, headache, dizziness). That's minor though compared to what I used to feel without Effexor.

Good luck.

Joelle
