I have been on Wellbutrin SR for almost a year and a half. I take 400mg/day -- 200mg in the am and 200mg at 3 pm. If you are having trouble sleeping, I would not take it later than mid afternoon. As it is, I was on Remeron with the Wellbutrin and now that I'm off the Remeron, I am having trouble sleeping again.You will find the energizing effect will go away, as will any irritability. My hand tremor went away, but it may be because I eliminated all caffeine from my diet. I have to be careful or the caffeine will make me scattered and jittery and not able to get any work done.
