Thanks for writing. I'm sorry to hear about your brother and dad. I think alcoholism runs in my family also. My mom's parents were heavy drinkers/alcoholics, as were my grandfather's parents and his brother and his son (my mother's cousin).You are fortunate because you've seen it all happen before you and you see it for what it is, and you're not fooling yourself. You are well ahead of the game. Good luck!
