I just wanted to add that a personal injury attorney does not charge an upfront fee, his fee is usually 1/3 of the settlement if it is settled out of court, 40% if it needs to go to court. He/she will take care of everything for you, they normally do the traveling for depositions, etc. so that you do not have to go back down for anything. Hopefully it will help bring some closure to do this. Take care.
