Judy - thanks for your concern. We are still taking this one-day-at-a-time. We haven't talked to a lawyer, yet and don't know what rights we have as foreigners. We haven't accepted the $10,000 from the driver's insurance company, yet. We just don't know what to do. We don't want to make money on this or destroy the drivers life (he probably will have to live with this for as long as he lives, but at least he is still alive, for his family). I just don't like having to go into some serious debt, because someone killed my daughter. Anyone know how Yankee law works? What basic recourse do I have? Sorry for whining, but I think some anger is starting to surface.
Judy - Being a parent, of course I am going to say that Suzanne was a "good girl", but her selection of friends and her extracurricular activities (Student Council at college, Girl Guides, Good Sam Volunteer, hot chocolate server and cookie designer/maker at our town's Christmas Party, etc.) do reflect on her approach to life. We never pushed her into anything she didn't want to do. We would expose her to something new and let her decide, even when she was a toddler. She was my "Mother Theresa. Thank you for your kind words. - a sad and frustrated Cam
