Abby & Quilter,
Thanks for the info, I was not aware of T3 (however, my dog is on Thyroid supplement). I am going to go get my blood work for cholesteral check soon, and they always do more than just cholesteral.

How would I ask to have them check thyroid stuff? Ask for a complete thyroid hormone test? Is there a T1, T2, T3, T4? Do they all need testing?
