I don't know anything about seroquel and its effects on sleep, but I do know that for me, effexor, both the regular and the xr, have interfered with sleep. I have always needed another med to counteract these effects. I took trazodone for a long time, and then changed to serzone. I take the serzone in the evening and it does help me fall asleep and stay asleep.
