Has anyone suggested using Ambien? It works very well for me (in combo with Neurontin). It has a very short half-life, and is supposed to disapate from a person's system after 3-5 hours. I never wake up groggy from it either (which doesn't mean you wouldn't). I've been using it for over a year now for insomnia and can only imagine how many sleepness nights I would've had without it. I heard some people at this site reporting memory loss from it, bit i've never had that experience. It's like everything else though, works for some people and not for others, most drugs are basically a "crap shoot".. It might be worth talking to your doc about.I hope you find an answer soon, I know what lack of sleep does to a person only too well
