Jeff,

I agree ... you need a new pdoc who will put you back on Tranxene if that's what works on your panic, and the sooner the better. As a pdoc once wrote me, a functional life sometimes demands a price, and Tranxene is a very small price to pay, IMHO.

I briefly tried Tranxene a year ago, and it didn't do much to help with my anxiety. Xanax and Klonopin (which are in the same family of drugs as Tranxene) work much better for me, and other anxiety and panic sufferers. However, I know several people who swear by Tranxene, and if it works for you, I suggest you stick with it!
