Babblers--

I should have been less "cute" or metaphoric. I was simply suggesting that this group of messages be archived--hoping that a fresh page might give us a fresh start. Clearly, Dr. Bob is exceptionally busy and will do what he can when he can; whatever he does is much appreciated by most of us, including me. My relative inexperience re message boards (6 months here only) should have restrained my impulse to post.

I became acutely attuned to rage during my bipolar brother's angry adolescence. (I am still surprised that both he and our parents survived his teen years.) For me, uncontrolled rage is a positive feedback mechanism; harm follows inevitably. The first personal insult closes the ears not only of his/her audience but also those of the rager. Reasoned discourse is at best a waste; at worst, further fuel for the fire. So, I never respond to rage; on this board I never open posts of ragers, once identified.

Still, the distress of many is evident. Such hostility pollutes the therapeutic atmosphere of this board; I would be very sad to see it prevail.
