As I go thru the searches I notice that some of the older posters seem to be changing meds from week to week (well maybe not week to week) but I know that it is not the 6 to 8 week period that all of you seem to recommend for us newbies. So then why do you always tell us to hang in there and give it the 6 to 8 week trial period. I know for myself that I can tell if a med is going to work pretty soon, say after maybe 2 weeks. I by no means am trying to get everyone upset or mad I just want to know why? Please do not get nasty about this, just curious dumb newbie to all this.
