Serzone and anger

To anyone out there,
I am living with my fiance who just switched from 20mg of Paxil a day to 50 mg of Serzone. He's on a starter pack where he steps up to 100 mg then to 150 mg and then levels off. He's only been on it for 3 days, but I can tell he is very irritable (angry to the point where he'll break things around the house). Does anyone know how I should handle the situation? I try to ask how he's feeling, but he just wants me to leave him alone. I want to help him, but I feel helpless. Sometimes I feel like I am on an emotional rollercoaster myself. If anyone has any advice, I would love to hear it.
