What are you are describing is sometimes called derealization and sometimes dissociation. Although it is often associated with incipient schizophrenia--don't let this freak you out--, it can be caused by many things. Stimulants can definitely cause what you describe, but so can ADs, marijuana, and other drugs. I think the first thing to do is to try and determine if one of the drugs you are taking is causing the derealization. If you are taking marijuana or stimulants I would stop them.
