Diabetes depression

Posted by NikkiT on March 23, 2000, at 6:02:43

My doc is now sending me for all range of tests, including a full work up to check for diabetes.

She said some of the initial symptoms can resemble depression, and I have some other symptoms she thinks might point to this (increased appetite & thirst, very excessive sweating). Anyone else heard about this??

I've always sweated pretty heavy, but it's getting very very bad at the moment, (I bring a chnge of clothes to work with me, as I'm soaked through by the time I arrive). And I can't seem to ever quench my thirst totally (to the point it wakes me up in the night!) and no meal ever seems to make me feel full. Could this simply be a side affect of the meds though (Paxil till 2 weeks ago, now remeron - both 30mg).

Any thoughts??

Thanks, Nikki xx
