I'm so sorry that you lost such a source of support. I hope you will feel better in time.
Do you believe she is in a better place, even if it still hurts you? Grief can grab us at almost any time, and it just happens (I don't think there's a formula to 'get over' such an important event).
Please, allow yourself to feel what you feel, and know that our sympathies are with you.
