Hello friends,
I have something strange going on in my life and have no one I can tell, except you.
I have been off antidepressants for many years now. I still have dysthimia but I do my best to cope by taking good care of myself.
I"m living in Seattle now and the winter is wearing me down. I finally admitted I was truly depressed and needed help when my son commented that I seemed sad all the time.
I make an appointment to see my doctor and asked him for trazodone. He agreed and I got the prescription right away. It's only been a week and I'm feeling strange side effects. My appetite is off, I'm just not interested in food. However my appetite for other things has Greatly Increased. I haven't felt like this in many years. I'm enjoying it but it is a bit overwhelming.
I have the libido of a 19 year old male. I have been reading erotic stories and even ordered "The Last Tango in Paris" last night. I can't wait to watch it.
Thank you all for listening. I feel better now. Has anyone else had this type of reaction? I've read that it is a reported side-effect.
