Hey Gang,
Been awfully quiet around here. We don't want Bob to think that this was a bad idea do we?
I've been using my away time to hammer the poor, unsuspecting job recruiters about finding me a job. I finally got tired of sitting around on my dead ass and whining about how miserable I am doing contract work and started making some calls. So far I haven't come up with anything but I sure have rattled some cages (and pissed a few people off in the process). I had one company which I'm paying to look for me tell me, "Well Greg, you know we are in the midst of a recession and the job market is very tough right now. You have to be patient." I said, "NO SHIT? I hadn't noticed! You had no problem taking my money though. Now stop making excuses and show me some results." I really am getting mouthy in my old age... Which reminds me, I have a birthday coming this month and anyone who wants to send me an expensive gift can let me know and I'll e-mail you my address :) Just kidding, I mean what can you buy a 19-year old that they don't already have....
Things are pretty good around the old homestead, the family is doing well, the kids are ornery as usual. Jeni is less than three months away from having the baby and I'm about to bust over that. I hadn't seen her for about 3 weeks until last weekend and she went from barely showing to "OH MY GOD"! We're throwing her baby shower for her next month (well, actually my wife is. I'm going to set everything up and leave...).
So how is everybody doing? Anybody won the lotto? Pitched a no-hitter? Had a starring role in a movie? Helped Shar down the stairs?
