It feels like I am watching my body as it carries on converstations (if I'm lucky). If I'm not, then I simply am amnestic for a period of time which is extremely scary. Like Tina, the first scenario is not unpleasant (almost like a drug-induced state), the second scenario leads to SI quite often. My official diagnosis is DD-NOS, my shrink doesn't believe in MPD and while I do, I would prefer not to have it. My therapist did explain there is a wide spectrum of dissociative states, with many people experiencing some symptoms. I'll post from time to time, and let everyone know my progress.
