"washout" time from celexa to parnate?

Posted by S. Suggs on November 17, 1999, at 9:58:36

After an adequate, but unsuccessful trial of Celexa, my doctor has agreed to try Parnate. The amount of time from Celexa to parnate seems to be about 2 weeks. All opinions are welcome on this one.

Next question: I requested that he run a series of Thyroid test to make sure that all is in order. The results are "normal", but this may not always indicate normal functioning for all patients. The results are:

TSH 2.20 (range .35 - 5.50)
T4 6.5 (range 4.5 - 12.00
T3 uptake 32 (range 24 - 39)
Free Thyroxine Index 2.0 (range 1.2 - 4.9)
Free T4 (direct) 1.09 (range .70 - 1.53)
TBG 13 (range 13 -39)
Triiodothyronine, Free; Serum 2.5 (range 2.3-4.2)

The TBG is borderline and a few others are close. Any thoughts, opinions and suggestions are welcome. I hope all are well. Thanks in advance, blessings to all!
