Aylse, I don't think so. I was taking Marplan and weaned off of it over a two-week period. I then spent two "clean" weeks exactly before taking my first 37.5 mg dose of Effexor SR. I then upped the dosage every fourth day, as prescribed, until I reached 150 mg. ~ Judy
