> Please, can anyone out there help? Today was the first day for me on Celexa. Actaully my first day on anything. I feel really strange today. All dizzy and dry mouthed. The muchies have hit me like a train which is so abnormal for me since I havent had an appetite in years. I have been resisting anti-depressants for years..maybe now I know why. I am scared. Can anyone give me a shoulder or some advice?

I am just a few weeks ahead of you. I started on Celexa on June 14. I too didn't want to be medicated and felt I could handle things without it. My marriage was having trouble and I would do whatever it took. I was on 10 mg. for 3 weeks now I am on 20 mg. I had some of the side effects at first but they are less now. I am better able to control my moods and anger and I am glad. I feel pretty sleepy and I hope most of that goes away with time. I was pretty scared too about starting, but it just takes time, each day is a little better. Let me know how you do.
