The muchies have hit me like a train which is so abnormal for me since I havent had an appetite in years. I have been resisting anti-depressants for years..maybe now I know why. I am scared. Can anyone give me a shoulder or some advice?

James here....

Everyone feels funny at first....dry mouth is common and feeling reved up or spacey is too. It is also common to be very hungury. Most of these fade with time...remember you are going to have to take Celexa for 3-4 weeks b4 you get antidepressant effect. So far you have the side effects most get at first, so don't feel bad, most of us have been there. Try to stick it out because in most these side effects go away or diminish in a week or so. Call your doc if you are still not comfortable, you are paying them to hold your hand, and he/she should be able to help you thru any ruff passages. For me, things get better in a week on a new AD and i try to stick it out for 4 weeks because often when the anti depressant effects start to side effects go away.
