vanilla screen

Why do you beckon me?
More tempting than the seroquel somnolence?
More delicious than my inspired cuisine?
More connected than my companions.
More real than life
More lively than real
More satisfying because I can thrive in the domain of civility. Where I cannot master my world.
More tears than sad
More hope than lust
More time than the world would seem to allow.
Each vanilla screen is gone in an instant, but makes an impression, lasting for the duration of the archives. Does this make me immortal?
