Hey GG!

I'm doing well. I met someone on an online dating site. I think he likes me. We're going on our second date soon. We've been chatting online.

Work is the same as usual. How are you?

Thanks. So far, so good. It was a planned surgery.

I like warmer better than bitter cold, but my joints swell more in summer, so I actually am achier then.

Hi sid. Glad you're staying afloat. I hope that it's more floating than struggling. Floating without having to struggle to stay that way sounds relaxing, doesn't it?

I'm doing okay. I wouldn't say I'm depression-free, but I feel like I'm headed in the right direction. I always feel more depressed when I'm physically sick, though. I just want to sit and stare into space when I don't feel well.

I recently started getting back to taking my vitamins and supplements regularly again. I never realized how much calcium, magnesium, and B-comp affected my mood, because I feel better when on them regularly. I also started taking some D, since I'm one of those folks who probably don't make enough on my own. We'll see how that goes.

Happy hump day!

That all sounds like fun, except maybe taking bf to the airport. I'm away from my husband at the moment. I miss him. :(

Today I'm taking it easy. I'm babysitting a three year old for a few hours this afternoon. He's a riot. And then later today I'll be trying to install a hand-held shower and a shelf in my mom's shower stall. I've never changed a shower head before, so I hope it's easy and doesn't leak. Wish me luck! :)

Good to see you.

I've got like a large amount of vitamins, but I've stopped taking all but the multi and the b complex
I've got some folic acid, some calcium with D, and some vitamin C chewables

I don't bother with the glucosamine and MSM right now because my joints haven't really felt badly. I did though recently, have a flare up. My knee got slightly injured too. It might be a good time to take that now.
and the calcium plus D - I think that's something I need.

I need to take vitamins regularly, but find I stop. Always some reason: forgot, some upset my stomach. I also suspect self-sabatoge. Oh well... My son, however, gets his daily. Hmmmm. Bingo! Maybe I need kids' vitamins. At least some way to get B vit down....

I didn't notice any fish oils. My friend was told by the Amen Clinic, (yes, she had a brain scan!) that Krill oil is king. (There goes Elvis.)

It's warm-ish here, or a little brisk for a CA gal like me. And I feel awful! Back, GI, head-like-a-hangover, (I don't drink.) Phooey. Maybe soon some garden time. A super frost killed off most of our early plantings--peas :( Oh, well. Try, try again.

Hi GG,
Today I'm much better thanks:)
I posted on here over the last couple of days. I was thinking of the old days. I guess I got depressed, I think all the Japan stuff (and hey! its doesn't effect me at all, so WHY it should get me down!!!)
poor people over there have some reason if they felt down! Beats me why I couldn't cope for a while, and started thinking of the old days on here. Also had a bit of stress over past weeka s well I guess.
Anyways, hi there everyone (used to be tealady).

You didn't miss it. I got my sister to do it. ;) Way better. Works well, from what I'm told.

I do like gardening, though I have trouble being consistent with it. I've had some work done recently on the house, which has resulted in me needing to re-do some of the flower beds. This time I hope to have more of a concept or plan instead of gardening willy-nilly. We'll see how that goes.

How are you?

Thanks Angela. My sister did it while I made dinner that night. I think it was a fair trade. I'm back home now and enjoying signs of spring. Yee haw!

Hope you are well,

I never realized how much they helped until I started back up taking them regularly.

Sorry about the flare ups. Pain sucks. Hopefully you're feeling better now.

> and the calcium plus D - I think that's something I need.

Be careful about D. The first bottle I bought was way, way too much for me. I felt terrible almost immediately. Just a little bit more than what's in my multi-vitamin and calcium seems to do that trick. Though it may also be the arrival of spring.

Have a great weekend.

I have a new liquid squeeze bottle of d that only takes a dot every few days on the fingertip. Supposed to be absorbed while many others are wasted or build up. Hit me if you want the name, etc.

Hi GG,

Willy-nilly if it's like English or French country, but that's probably not what you mean....

Frankly, I'm still trying to decide if I'm in Dante's Purgatorio or Inferno, and then, which ring.

AND the beloved, prayed for Western rain hurts my poor, pooped-out back.

This message should probably be filed with the department of complaints.

House-stuff. As in annoying house stuff being done?

Btw, our early peas are doing well. As long as the hail doesn't get them; no time to put them under straw.

Let me know how you are.

Hi Tealady,

I don't think we ever met.

Bless the Japanese. I hope those fires go out and all is well as can be for them.

Yes, I think hearing about catastrophe wakens us, can make us hurt, don't you think so? Well, for me it does. We're all human.

Nice to meet you. I hope the stress you mention resolves swiftly.

Thanks GG, I'm glad you replied.
I feel a lot better now, just a bad patch really, but I think my fundamental views of people have been changed, and I don't like it-I MUC=H prefer naivety I guess it was (and I'm not a spring chicken either!). I recall my grandmother in her 70's (no, I'm not that old) being "woken up"once too as to the nature of someone. Sad really, but its life I guess and for some reason you or at least I don't think people around them are "not reasonable"...one person I know said unconscionable was a word to describe their behaviour, and after I checked it out , I can only confirm that I have finally met someone whose thoughts and actions and some system that fit that word. It must be the worst description I can think of for anyone? But sadly, it fits.
I've got over it at least enough to cope now I guess, and thanks for cheering me up. UNCONSCIONABLE is my new word for the decade!
I actually now understand the word:) and it is really the worst I can think of anyone's actions. Can't think of anyone on here, ever, whose actions I could describe by that word!
anyways I'm coping now, and I've learnt something more of the world I guess:).. would have preferred NOt to learn, but that's life

Innocent = not + knowing

Yeah. That's easy peas.

Blake wrote Innocence after Experience.

I still cannot get that one flowing. Life keeps insisting.... Then there are those darn pop quizzes.

Ex = out of + perirnce, distantly related to trial or peril or passage. To know by trial.

I'm so sorry you learned something you wish you hadn't had to.

Hello, all. I'm a newbie and I don't really know where to first post, so maybe I'll try here. I'm happy that today is gloriously sunny, and before noon I'll put pansies in containers for outside.
I suffer from depression and anxiety, but is controlled by meds mainly. However, I also get manic and times, and am over-zealous at work sometimes --- and tell my bosses what to do. They don't like this (even though what I'm saying is true and correct). My problem is controlling my outspokenness when I see messes caused by the typical institutional slowness, semi-competence, passing the buck.
Today I'm going to chill out by gardening, walking my dog, and visiting a friend for tea.
