Has anyone ever figured out how to keep socks together? My little girl has about 10 socks with other sock to match.

My understanding is that they fall through a wormhole into an alternate universe, where they are a lot like sand on the beach...
They go to the same place that matching buttons go.
They go where my favorite earrings went.
In our home, they fall between the wall and the washer -- if I'm very, very careful, I can fish them out, sometimes, with something like a yardstick.
I know, I'm no help. Hope you smiled, though.

My dog eats them, poops them out in the back yard, or vomits them up in the house, don't want them back. If he sees them off feet he looks at them with great longing and desire, until he can get them along, away from the owner. He's a sick, sick doggie!
My son also wears them until they have holes, grrr last pair 3 days straight!

Then I opened the post, and of course, that would not be appropriate. I agree with whoever said that there was a black hole connection from the washing machine. Somewhere in the universe is sock heaven. They're all clean, single, and ready to mingle! ;)

Would you like a "real" dog?! Actually as naughty as he is, he's a gorgeous Labby Lab, and I love him, he's a good companion. He's 5, so I don't think he's going to give up his choice of "fiber". I just hope one day one of them doesn't get clogged. Sometimes he'll puke up a pair of tidy whities, now that could cause some major plumbing issues. It's not like he doesn't get enough to eat, enough to keep him busy, or enough attn. Go figure!

Okay, I'm being a little dull.
But they actually do get lost in the washer (if you have a top loading washer that is) They slip
over the top of the barrel in between that and the inside of the washer and get lost in there.
