technology to create hearing voice impression

Posted by ttt on November 23, 2001, at 9:55:01

Is there a technology to create hearing voice impression?
Does this technology exist anywhere in the world and used by any form of government to control some people?
Is this hysterical, pathetic, and helpless?

I hope I won't get tortured or persecuted for raising these concerns. Sorry if this offend anyone. I have no intention to be subversive or disobidient. I am just trying to understand my apparent schizophrenia.

ttt, I suppose someone could play a hidden taperecorder with voices. Do you have any enemies? An ex-spouse who might want to "drive you crazy" for revenge or some other reason? Malicious pranksters in the neighborhood? Anyone with an axe to grind with you?

A relative told me something similar happened to him recently and he wondered something along the lines you have—was someone he knew "messing with his head"? However, I think in his casse it's age related, he's on in years, so could partially be dementia. He also sustained a head injury recenty—could be that too.

Sorry I don't know much about schizophrenia but please keep posting. Maybe someone can help with information and it would help other interested posters learn about the condition (if that's what you have—it could be something else entirely). As far as know I there could be many causes for the problem you describe—medications, head trauma, various psychological disorders.

If you think there's a serious chance of someone using technology to articifically play voices in your environment I would suggest hiring a private investigator with technological expertise to check out the situation.

Good luck. -mist

I have totally no idea whose the voice could be. I just can't relate to anyone.
I do not have much money to spend and for some reason, I am so very fearful of finding out that there is indeed someone trying to drive me crazy.
I don't know why. I do not have enemies but I'm concern that there would be in an effort to clear this up. somebody might get upset and if they are this powerful, I would be in greater danger. I guess this is what scare me.
On the other hand, there is a theory of schizophrenia. I'm just stuck and confuse and helpless. The voice does not bother me as much as long as it does not wake me up and cause physical suffering as the result of insomnia.
But if someone try to mess with me, then it is simply a human right violation and illegal and wrong.
Thank you very much for replying.

ttt,

Have you been to the doctor to discuss your worries ? The buzzing in your head could be a result of tinnitus bought on by the stress of worrying. It is also possible that you are severely depressed and this is causing you to hear voices. However whatever the case you really should seek some professional advice. I don't know to much about schizophrenia but i think there are medications you can take to get it under control.

My only other experience with schizophrenia was a friend of a friend. He believed that body guards in clubs etc were saying evil, threatening things to him and that they were all schemeing against him, but really they weren't.Luckily he has the help he needs and i think he has it under control.I only met him a few times , but he was a really, really cool guy and he was nice to talk to as well and this was before he was diagnosed. I feel so sorry that he was going through all that mental torture though and its sad because he had to leave university because he couldn't cope, but at least he has some help now. The thing that marked him out as having schizophrenia as opposed to severe depression was the fact that he really didn't know that it wasn't real. The voices melted into his reality and he didn't realise that he could be ill, he didn't question whether it was real or not.

Anyway good luck and please if you haven't already seen a healthcare professional about this, DO !!!

It is very very frustrated and terrible to hear voices that make me feel so bad. It is even more frustrated and sick not to be able to sleep. I am having the worst time of my life.

I love this country. I love the people. I support the goverment 100%. I am a good citizen. I have no reason to distrust anyone.

I have schizophrenia and will try to get treatment. I am at rock bottom and thing can only be better. So tomorrow will always be better than the worst I have experienced.

Thank you very very much for your response. I found it very supportive and comforting. Life could still be so very wonderful and it will be again.

Thank again for caring enough to reply. You all are very nice.

Have you always heard voices? Do you think your insomnia might be making them worse? Are you taking any medication right now?

Hope you feel better,
Christophre

Hi ttt,
I think that you are having a psychotic episode. You posted a couple of days ago, so I hope that by now you have found some help.
Your panic is understandable; I'd panic if I was hearing voices and didn't know where they were coming from. It might be hard to imagine but when you explain what is going on to people so they understand what is going on and how difficult it is, the reaction will be an empathetic one.
If you haven't figured out what to do about this then you should go to the hospital.
Please keep us posted,
Andy
